Brooks Christian Church has a rich history based on Scripture and the grace of God. Our church has faithfully served the Brooks community for over 100 years. Brooks Church was established in 1910 by members of County Line Christian Church and Mountain Springs Christian Church who lived in the town of Brooks.
Our historic connection is with the Stone-Campbell Restoration Movement that began in the United States in the early 1800’s as an effort to call all denominations to unity based upon a return to the teachings and practices of the church of the first century. When the more liberal element of the Restoration Movement structured itself into a denomination in 1969, Brooks Church was considered a part of that denomination. In September 2006, our church voted to withdraw from the denomination since it did not reflect our more conservative views on theology and social issues.
We partner with a variety of ministries, ranging from missionaries in foreign countries to local outreach organizations in our community to share the good news of Christ. It is our desire to passionately live, love and lead others to our Savior.
